BoardmanPresidentLeland Boardman joined Velosum as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors in June of 2007. He is a certified public accountant with more than 25 years of experience working with both private and public companies. Most recently, Mr. Boardman served as Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer for Arkona, Inc., a technology leader in Application Service Provider ("ASP")-based management solutions for new and independent automobile dealerships throughout the United States. Prior to Arkona, Mr. Boardman was the Vice President of Operations for Sorenson Medical, Inc., a privately-held manufacturer of disposable medical products. He has also served as the Chief Accounting Officer for Ballard Medical Products, a wholly-owned public manufacturing subsidiary of Kimberly Clark Corporation and as a Senior Manager with Deloitte and Touche, LLC, an international public accounting firm, where he worked for over 12 years. Mr. Boardman graduated from the University of Utah in 1981 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Rod SheetsFounder & Chief Technology OfficerRod Sheets founded the company in 2001 and incorporated in 2002 and brings more than 25 years of experience in software and technology development, management and innovation to Velosum. He has served in leadership roles at Boeing Inc., Franklin Covey and United Health Group. His industry exposure has spanned government, defense and private sector development in the US and EC. He has more than 12 patents to his credit, and several more in process, including several patents developed in the avionics and telemetry arena for the Department of the Navy. He has published several papers in scientific journals and industry periodicals, and is a leader in handwriting recognition and computational linguisitics. Rod has helped pioneer the digital pen and paper industry and has developed several industry leading patented processes and algorithms. Michael CritchfieldVice President of Sales and MarketingMichael Critchfield joined the Company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing on February 18, 2008. Michael previously served as the Vice President of Sales for Arkona, Inc., a technology leader in ASP-based management solutions for new and independent automobile dealerships throughout the United States, since January 2006. Arkona has been listed annually as one of Utah’s Top 50 public companies. Arkona was acquired by DealerTrack Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRAK) on June 6, 2007. Michael joined Arkona in July 2000 as Director of Sales. Prior to joining Arkona, he served in the U.S. Army and Utah National Guard with a background in Logistics and Counter Intelligence. He also served and managed in many sales and service capacities at Word Perfect, Novell, Corel, Vinca, Legato and Manage.com. |
